Review – Eton Mini Compact Radio

The Eton Mini Compact Radio is one of my favorite things to bring along on a bike ride, especially if it’s going to be longer than a few hours. It’s powered by a pair of AAA batteries, is lightweight, compact, and loud enough to hear even on a windy day. In the past several months it’s been put through quite a lot, including a few major spills, but it’s working just as good as the day I got it.

Review – Simple Workout Log

Simple Workout Log is a great little Android application used to keep track of your workout history. Features like the ability to enter your own exercises, create multiple workout routines, set exercise timers, and to organise it all with categories make this a useful and easy to use application. I’ve been using Simple Workout Log for a couple years on both a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact as well as a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Review – Strava

Strava is a GPS enabled fitness application used to track your route, speed, distance and more. Highlights include ease of use, no fee for most features, and a great competitive feature called Strava Segments. I’ve been using this application extensively on my Samsung Galaxy S7 as well as in conjunction with my Garmin Edge 520. I’ve logged thousands of kilometres in Strava mainly via cycling and hiking.
